Brenda June Kelley (Fraley) Renner, age 68, passed away on October 20, 2020, in Richmond. She was born on March 25, 1952, in Huntsville, Texas, to Herman and Dorothy Massengale Fraley.

Brenda Graduated from Clear Creek High School in League City, Texas, Class of 1970. She owned Kelley’s Beauty Salon, Alvin, TX, which she eventually sold. She held manager positions at: Lancôme & Guerlain - Dillard’s & Neiman Marcus Department Stores – Sugar Land, Dallas, & Plano TX. Brenda was Miss Texas for Lancôme. She was also an accomplished Gospel Singer and made appearances throughout America.

Brenda & her husband often talked long into the night during her heart-breaking journey – near the end Brenda firmly told David that all was well with her soul. David’s quote of his wife: “Brenda was a wonderful companion to this old & tired Vietnam veteran & I will miss her dearly – but her memory will live on as long as my heart is beating; and, in the hearts of her many friends and family.”

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her beloved husband, David Renner; daughter, Jentry Kelley; step-daughters, Michaela Renner and Patricia Renner; grandson, Liam Kelley Lynch; sister, Patsy Fraley Davis; numerous loving aunts, uncles; cousins; nieces & nephews; and of course many, many friends & former colleagues. Brenda & David were long time members of both Rosenberg & Wallis American Legion C&W Dance Clubs. David wishes to give special thanks to Hermann Memorial Hospice and their special Angels of Care – especially Lauren, Shantae, Christina, Tammy, Anthony, Stacie; and, Chaplains Hector & Royce – they made this devastating journey as peaceful as they possibly could.

Dear Dave, we're praying that God will bless you with His peace and give you strength and understanding to help you through this difficult time. We often cannot see or understand God's plan and why there is pain, suffering and death.

We never met Brenda, but we knew from you that she meant the world to you. May God keep you in His Grace and replace your pains of her loss with all of the special memories and good times that both of you shared together.

Love, Vickie & Milton

An absolute perfect mix! Brenda was so genuine and authentic. She was soulful and had dimension! She spoke LIFE over all those knew her. Brenda Renner I love you and miss you. I know you will be the perfect Guardian Angel over your Grandson. I was so very Blessed to have known you. Your light shined so bright!

I remember my sister as a beautiful woman. Her beauty shown through in her looks and her personality. She was a giving person, always willing to give me a helping hand or a word of wisdom. We were close to one another. We never had any disagreements. I loved her and will miss her, but I know she went to Heaven and is now visiting with her Mom and Dad.

My friend Lukas and I had the opportunity to spend some days in december 2016 on our USA trip with Brenda and David because of our common friend Günter who arranged everything. Like it was yesterday - I can remember as Lukas and I stand at the airport arrival and Brenda came into the hall at the airport Houston. At this moment we didn‘t know who she is and David was waiting in the car. She was so cordial to us from the beginning and we had a great time. Unforgetable was the tour around the neighborhood with the fancy christmas decorations. In additon Brenda organised some good dinners at her and Davids prefered restaurant spots. So many good talks with her and I still remeber every moment although its almost 4 years ago!

This picture was at our last day in Houston before we travelled to Washington D.C. It was the 16th of december 2016 in an italian restaurant I guess. Lukas and I enjoyed every moment with Brenda and David. So sorry for the loss of your beautiful wife David.

Condolences from Switzerland.
