Charles Edward Terry, II passed away on Saturday the 2nd of May 2020 in Houston, TX. He was born the 10th of August 1970 to Charles Edward and Blanche Vasquez Terry in Houston, TX. Charles was a lifelong Houstonian and believed in giving back to his community. He was known and loved by many. His family called him Grandpa Charlie, Brother, Unc, and CT.

Charles can be described as a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend. He was a true Pittsburgh Steelers fan and was always the life of the party. If you ever played pool with him you would soon find out he was a sharp player and might teach you a thing or two.

One of the things that made Charles special was his love for his family. He dedicated his time to mentoring umpires, coaches and of course, family members. He recognized the importance of the upcoming generation and wanted to instill values and give advice as best as he could. He was a TASCO Certified Umpire, member of the Northwest Baseball Association, STA-MO also Select Tournaments and other leagues throughout the Houston area. He was also an Offensive Line Little League Coach for the North Houston Oilers.

Charles graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1989 and attended CHCP College and earned his degree in Medical Coding. He worked at Republic Services as a Medical Records Specialist where he was also loved and supported. Over his life time he attended The Heights Church and rededicated his life to the Lord at Lindale Assembly of God with his mother by his side. He shared this with some of his family members.

He was predeceased by father, Charles Edward Terry I, and paternal and maternal grandparents.

He is survived by mother, Blanche Vasquez Terry; son, Jeremy; granddaughter, Aria; son, Charles Edward Terry III; wife, Cricelda; grandchildren Charles and Ava; siblings and spouses, Pedro (Eunice) Ayarzagoitia; three sisters, Cynthia Cortez; Rebecca (Jesse) Reynosa; Blanca (Cordell) Bausley. He is also survived by 1 uncle, 3 aunts, 24 nieces and nephews, 30 great nephews and nieces, 31 cousins and over 60 second cousins.

Charles Edward Terry, II was one of a kind and will be missed by family and many many friends.

Please join the family on Friday the 15th of May 2020 from 11-1 pm for the visitation at Lindale Church, 503 Reid St. in Houston. The funeral service will begin at 1pm followed by the burial at Historic Hollywood Cemetery, 3506 N. Main St. in Houston.
