Corinne (Bunny, Mimi) Lowry McGehee Addison, 90, of Missouri City, Texas born on June 19, 1929, in San Antonio, Texas and passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 31, 2019, at Optimum Personal Care.
Funeral Mass for Corinne Addison will be at 10 am on Monday, November 11, 2019, in the Chapel of Divine Mercy at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 3100 Sweetwater Boulevard, Sugar Land, TX 77479.
Corinne loved to dance and would often go country & western dancing with John. She also loved vacationing in Texas and Florida with family. She enjoyed working in the yard tending her flowers and listening to the water fountain she and John installed on their patio. Corinne was extremely artistic and her bluebonnet oil paintings are found in many of her family’s homes.
Corinne was preceded in death by her husband, John Addison. She was the beloved mother of Stephen “Steve” (Barbara) Doumit, Suzanne “Sue” Rohrig and Melanie “Mel” (Briggs) Blackburn; grandmother of Stephanie (Bob) Lipo, Stephen (Terri) Doumit II, Ian Doumit, Michael (Janet) Rohrig, Jim Rohrig, Audra (Kellen) Horney and Stacy Blackburn. Corinne was the proud great-grandmother of Ainsley, Gillian, Brett, Ethan, Finnegan, Ignacious, Peyton, Marcus, Isabelle and Wesley. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Pauline McGehee; her brother, Charles and her sister, Sara.
