David William Hunter, beloved name “Gaga” by his grandchildren.
David William Hunter passed away to be with his Lord and Savior on May 18, 2023. He was born May 20, 1950 in Houston, TX.
David graduated from Sam Houston High School in Houston, Texas and attended Southwestern Assemblies of God University, to earn his Doctorate of Divinity from Louisiana Baptist University and Theological Seminary.
He was certified to preach at 16 years old with the South Texas, Assemblies of God. He has been in the Ministry throughout his entire life. David received his ordination at 24 years of age. He Pastored, taught the word, was a fiery and power packed evangelist! Over the years he has pastored in South Texas, North Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi. He went on a mission trip to China with a team to set up the first church to reopen in Woohan, China.
David is survived by his children, David and wife, Gina. David’s family are: Kaitlin, Autumn and Katy, Hannah and Reid, and Faith Hunter. David, jr.’s, grandchildren are: Caydence, Cami and Carsyn.
Son, Christopher and family are: Crosby Hunter and Zoe Hunter.
Brother: Wayne (Buddy) Hunter, wife Janice, sister: Janie Wachel and husband , Joey. A host of Nephews, nieces, friends and loved ones.
